Bibcheck was developed by the Web developers at Papercheck, an editing company that provides proofreading services to both students and businesses. Bibcheck was developed to facilitate students in the creation of bibliographies and reference lists.

It can be difficult to write a cohesive academic essay that contains a strong thesis statement, a logical flow of ideas, and a definitive conclusion. Building a bibliography to credit previous research can be very confusing and exasperating. Bibcheck provides a simple method to help students locate the necessary information and properly document sources that have been accessed.

Bibcheck Web developers are focused on providing a simple method to capture the required data to credit referenced sources. The Bibcheck application has been tested extensively to satisfy the requirements for the most basic book entries and for more complex entries which are often used in dissertations, whether or not they are published. Our goal is to provide 100% accuracy. Writing styles will remain in Beta until each example in a newly added writing style manual or handbook has been examined, tested, and confirmed.
